Kazuhiko, who prefers to go by Youta as she feels that her given name is too masculine, was born in her grandmothers house in Wyoming before moving to Japan against her wishes when she was 12 months old. After this, her parents cut all contact with her grandparents and Youta proceeded to grow up in Japan for the rest of her life, never properly knowing her grandparents. She spent her whole life wating to be an engineer, she dedicated herself to being the best she could but she always ended up in "second place". Through stress testing in her engineering classes, she found that she had a natural talent for investigation and ended up as "The Super High School Level Private Investigator" almost against her will but ultimately accepted it as she couldn't see a future doing anything else.
